Aguilabs owns and maintains your project's code while your plan is active. Every plan also offers a per-project source release — a one-time fee that hands you the complete, self-hostable codebase whenever you choose to take it.
Why This Policy Exists
Aguilabs owns and maintains the code while your plan is active — and unlike a builder platform, there's a clean exit: every plan offers a full source release that puts the codebase entirely in your hands.
A source release exists so a plan is never a one-way door. Once a project is released, the codebase is fully yours — to self-host, hand to another engineering team, or simply keep as a record of what was built. Nothing about the arrangement locks a project in.
What a Source Release Actually Is
If you want the full source code to self-host, a one-time Source Release fee applies per project. Integrated multi-component systems may be treated as a single release unit where appropriate.
A release transfers the complete codebase for that project — every file, ready to self-host or hand off. It is billed once per project, not monthly, and it is available on every plan, including Enterprise, where the fee is set as part of that project's custom commercial terms.

This isn't an ongoing SEO retainer. Content production, link building, rank tracking, and SEO campaigns aren't included — deeper SEO or AI-search work is ordinary project work, billed against the plan's monthly build capacity like any other request.
